Jessica Perez, a proud Puerto Rican native, moved to New York City’s Lower East Side at the age of 13. Her artistic journey began at the Abrons Art Center, located near her home, where she first explored life as an artist. She continued to pursue her passion at LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, initially enrolling as a voice major before switching to dance. After graduating, Jessica earned full scholarships to renowned institutions such as Alvin Ailey and Ballet Hispánico, where she underwent rigorous training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Flamenco, Pointe work, Partnering, and more. She spent over a decade performing with the Urban Ballet Theater and worked as an actress in various television projects and commercials.

Jessica’s dedication to fitness and wellness led her to explore yoga and Pilates, which she embraced as art forms to stay fit. After some soul searching, she discovered her passion for Hot Pilates and Hot Yoga, igniting a new sense of purpose. In June 2022, Jessica became certified in Inferno Hot Pilates under Gabriella Walters, the method's founder, following intensive training at YO.BK. She further deepened her expertise by completing a 200-hour Power Vinyasa certification in March 2024, led by Kate Davis and Sheri Celentano at YO.BK. Today, Jessica teaches an average of 11 weekly classes across multiple studios.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Jessica treasures her role as a mother, dedicating herself to raising her two incredible children—a role she considers one of her most fulfilling life purposes.

Jessica is a passionate advocate for holistic well-being, believing in the importance of nurturing the mind, body, and spirit. Her dedication and lifestyle make her a respected role model within her community.
