HIIT Pilates is a high-intensity interval training workout that combines the principles of Pilates with intense cardio intervals. This type of workout is designed to help you burn fat and build muscles while improving your flexibility, balance, and overall fitness in an 80-degree room.
During a HIIT Pilates workout, you will perform a series of exercises that target different muscle groups in your body, such as squats, lunges, and planks. You will also incorporate Pilates movements, such as the Pilates bridge, Pilates hundred, and Bird-Dog, to improve your core strength and stability.
The high-intensity low-impact cardio intervals will typically involve burpees, running human, or mountain climbers, which will elevate your heart rate and help you burn calories. The intervals are short and intense, followed by a brief period of rest, to keep your body challenged and increase your metabolism.
